Summertime In the City

It is hot. It has been hot in Austin since April. It has been REALLY hot since May. But I LOVE summer! I have actually got a pretty decent tan working...first one in several years. I have enjoyed laying by the pool and reading for pleasure.

Tomorrow is the first day of July. That means I have exactly one month to prepare for Regents. Today I purchased 2 books for my summer reading. The Great Divorce (C.S. Lewis) & The Everlasting Man (G.K. Chesterton). I'll let you know how they go.



In other news, my birthday was a huge success. If you think you have the best friends in the world, you are wrong, because I do! A few pictures are below.


Last, but not least, I have updated my "Who I Read" section. If you are at all interested in Zambia and the goings on of Family Legacy and what God is doing there please take time to read these ladies' entries.
